The Songwriting School attempts to provide meaningful, valuable instruction for students of varying backgrounds, styles, and experience levels and does not discriminate based upon race, gender, sexuality, sexual preference, religion, nationality, or any other means.

Students must provide more than 21 days notice to withdraw, change class start date, or to establish any leave of absence dates. Any requests made more than 21 days before the start date can result in a full tuition REFUND. Any requests 21 days or fewer prior to original class start date, the student will retain a TUITION CREDIT minus a $100 change fee. This credit MAY NOT be applied to other services, such as but not limited to private lessons, studio time, etc. With online classes, there is no option to take a portion of the class and withdraw for partial credit. A student retains access to class materials and is therefore enrolled in the class. The class content can be taken on-demand and whenever the student is ready and able. 

If the class a student has enrolled in has more than one level and the student feels he or she has enrolled in the wrong level, the student may contact the school by e-mail at [email protected] or by phone at 818-848-7664 to discuss being placed in the proper level. This can be done without additional charge if a faculty advisor agrees with the level assessment and change is initiated within 14 days from the first day materials are made available.

The class materials are accessible to the student for private educational use. All videos, audio, and handouts are the express copyright of The Songwriting School or of individual instructors as noted. They are not to be distributed, reproduced, or otherwise used without express written consent.
